What does a block managing agent do?
A managing agent runs the day-to-day side of a residential building on behalf of the RMC, RTM company or freeholder: setting and collecting the service charge, arranging insurance, cleaning, repairs and maintenance, keeping the building compliant, and keeping directors and residents informed.
How much does block management cost?
It depends on the size of the building, the services it needs and its condition. We set out a clear annual management fee in your proposal, so you know the cost before you decide. Our guide to block management costs explains what affects the fee.
How do we change managing agent?
Check the notice period in your current management agreement, then ask us for a proposal. Once the directors or freeholder decide to switch, we contact the outgoing agent and manage the handover of funds, records and contracts. See how to change managing agent.
Do you manage small blocks of flats?
Yes. Many of the buildings we manage are smaller developments, and we take on larger buildings too. Tell us about yours.
Do you work with RMCs and RTM companies?
Yes. We manage buildings for residents' management companies, Right to Manage companies, freeholders, share of freehold companies and developers.
What is the Harrison Services Portal?
A secure online portal that comes with every building we manage. Directors see finances, compliance, approvals and documents; residents can report repairs, make payments and read building announcements. You can try the live demo.
Which areas do you cover?
Mainly London and the surrounding counties, including Hertfordshire, Surrey, Essex, Kent, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire. If your building is further afield, get in touch anyway.
